the Cyber AMP Program

The Apprentice Management Project is a joint effort between local universities, employers, industry associations, non-profits, and Government partners to benefit the next generation of IT/cybersecurity professionals and close the talent gap.

  • Department of Labor funding helps support the 200-hour Internship & 6-month Apprenticeship options

  • Participants are completing a CompTIA class (e.g. A+, Sec+, CySA+) and exam at no cost

  • We will collaborate with your team to select from a catalog of entry-level projects (if needed) to make hosting as easy as possible for you

  • Local professional networking/mentoring organizations (e.g. ISSA, AITP members) provide participants with additional guidance for increased program success

Host an Intern or Apprentice

There is a tremendous amount of value for everyone involved when we come together and pull these eager candidates up into their first opportunity. The AMP program is designed to provide organizations with a structured program, a catalog of projects, and a feedback loop with ongoing support. This is a paradigm shift from hand-holding to a mutually beneficial experience.

become a Mentor

It doesn’t take much time or effort to make a large impact on someone’s life. We make it simple for you to connect with several participants and share your advice & experiences over a couple of 30-minute calls during the course of the program. There is no obligation to take on any more responsibility than that!

Our interns are doing a great job. They picked everything up fast and are already threat hunting in our tools during their second week.
